This quest is designed to help you navigate through a sequence of related topics and AWS services as it relates to Corporate Apps on AWS for Windows, such as Exchange and SharePoint.
This lab demonstrates how to launch and configure a Windows virtual machine (instance) in the Amazon cloud. It will cover the use of Windows Amazon Machine Images (AMI’s) to launch Amazon EC2 Instances, bootstrapping using Powershell, creating Key Pairs for authentication, securing network access to Amazon EC2 Instances with Security Groups and attaching Elastic IPs to Amazon EC2 Instances to provide static Internet addresses.

This lab will guide you through the necessary steps in designing and configuring a Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 environment in the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) platform. It will demonstrate how to design a secure network environment with Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) and the Security Groups, start Amazon EC2 virtual machines, manage public IPs with Elastic IPs, configure your instances to create a Microsoft Active Directory Forest and configure a Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 instance.

In this lab you will install Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 on a single Windows Server 2012 R2 instance using Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2). This type of installation is suitable only for development, testing, and demonstration purposes, because installing Microsoft Dynamics CRM on a domain controller is not officially supported by Microsoft.

This lab introduces you to Installing Microsoft SharePoint on AWS: Getting Started on Windows Server 2012. You will install Microsoft SharePoint 2013 on a single Microsoft Windows Server in Amazon EC2.
Fundamental 8 Credits 1 Hour 30 Minutes
This lab leads you through the steps to deploy Skype for Business on an Amazon EC2 instance. A Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) with an Active Directory domain is pre-created for you in this lab. You will install your own Certificate Authority using PowerShell scripts, set up the DNS entries for Skype, and install and configure Skype for Business Server. You will also connect a client to the Skype for Business Server using the AD credentials. This is a lengthy and detailed lab. To successfully complete this lab, you should already be very familiar with basic Windows Server administration and comfortable using PowerShell. This lab uses free trial software from Microsoft which requires you to have a Microsoft Live account.
