I wasnt able to create lamba function with aws command so i had to download zip file to my computer and create function in aws console by clicking.

(1) You should note that the EC2 needs to be configured with your AWS credentials (thankfully, this is pretty easy) and (2) it's worth noting that if your file name has "JPG" in all caps, the lambda function won't execute -- it needs to be all lowercase. (The node handler should probably be rewritten to handle this case)
