Using Amazon RDS for ApplicationsGo to Lab
Disappointing. A lot of setup operations, only 15 min of real course. Should have included snapshot tasks => do it yourself !
lab failed with server error 0. examples provide no context (why do X or Y). Just a series of key clicks and scripts.
Very very simple. Also, I was expecting the RDS console to have some kind of database management module, but no.
nice lab. I had to chmod the settings.php file to be able to edit it, but it was otherwise great.
lab is broken -- as soon as I tried to open the console, it asked me to change the password for the awsstudent account, but I get an error about not having permission to change IAM when I try and there is no escape out of the dialog.
Glad I went through this lab to see why I do/don't need rds, given the size of my database.
