Some of the content like the version numbers on MySQL were out of date. I was able to figure everything out but it may be confusing to others.

There are several errors in the lab: MySQL 5.5.42 in not in the list security group id starts from qls-... not from 'qlstack2-labinstance...'

Unable to use the specific build of MySQL defined in the lab thus I had errors attempting to follow a couple of the instructions. However, still gave me a general understanding of RDS and exposure to another CloudFormation template

Looks like the mysql edition listed in the lab is no longer available. I ended up using the closest version # and that worked out alright. Sick lab

59.b -- version of mysql specified not available. when editing the /var/www/html/sites/default/settings.php file, it is not clear how to insert a string. various attempts at pasting the data garbled the file. You need to give better instructions on using nano. I switched to vi.
