Using Amazon RDS for ApplicationsGo to Lab
Setup never completed. The Drupal site never came online. I was unable to SSH into the host instance using the provided key to see where the failure was happening.
I thought this was a good RDS intro with an application on the backend. It might have been good to start the RDS instance as multi-AZ from the beginning to save time and to show a DB resize causing less impact.
I had issues with Task 1 in the lab because I used a web browser that would not log me into the CMS. I think the lab should specify that Chrome or Firefox be used. Also, several of the steps for creating the RDS did not correspond to what was in the console. I think the console may have been updated, but the steps were not.
