The lab is high quality. The problem is I learn by doing, and because this is copy-paste-push button, repeat x7, I don't really learn much other than the motions of checking S3, using cloud formation, and other UI elements. I don't learn by reading about the YAML files, I learn by creating them. It's high quality besides that niggle.

2nd attempt it worked fine so the issue must have been temporary. I like the lab showing that updates can be made and applied - need more info to be able to write the templates. Would appreciate something to link this with the previous OpWorks lab - are they complementary, is one better in certain circumstances? They seem quite similar

Lab seemed to fail to create the S3 bucket for lab 1. went on to lab 2 and it too stayed at 'in progress'. 30 mins after starting, lab 1 went in to roll back. don't know if it's an amazon issue or lab - am gonna quit lab and try again
