This lab offers little insight into the importance of each action. The text is self-referential to the point of redundancy, and a number of tasks are glitchy (e.g. task 3 would not execute properly until I restarted everything, despite following the instructions properly twice beforehand).

Moved too fast, not enough detail, and did not have permission to view the CloudFormation template at the end which I thought would have been very beneficial.

CloudFormation template per the "Additional Learning" section of the lab did not work giving a permission error.

At the very end I hit this: "Go to CloudFormation Dashboard, select the lab's stack and example the template tab:" I went to Services / CloudFormation, tried to select the only stack and got this error Failed to load stack data: User: arn:aws:sts::037238400329:federated-user/dschlegel is not authorized to perform: cloudformation:DescribeStacks on resource: arn:aws:cloudformation:us-west-2:037238400329:stack/qls-4244300-b59b60d669930af6/4a6bdc90-dd38-11e8-adbd-0a473bf201de Class monitor said that the lab was locked down to prevent me looking at this item. The lab instructions should be adjusted or the permissions changed.
