Creating Amazon EC2 Instances (for Linux)Go to Lab
Everything worked fine. But found it curious that when you setup the Elastic IP address that the public DNS name changed as well. That probably should have been pointed out.
There's an alert on the 'configuration' page about not having permissions to create an IAM Role - this could be confusing if not mentioned.
Had to be careful of the region the lab is started in.. went with the default Oregon due to a lack of permissions to opt for a different region
DNS pre-configured in the Linux EC2 instance was not responding/accessible. I had to add a public DNS in to /etc/resolv.conf to get things to work (ie. install httpd and php)
Lab did not work properly. Although I completed all the objectives the score never got above 50%. This is the second time this has occurred. Other than that, the lab content is good.
