Good info. I think AWS changes the create database stuff, it looked quite a bit different than in the class. Managed to set it up though.

Task 10 needs to be reworked to reflect the fact that most of it is done on a single screen now, so the “Next” buttons don’t exist. Steps 77, 79, and 80 in particular are pretty different, and have new steps not listed. I had to uncheck “Enable Enhanced Monitoring.” Until I did so, I got the following error when I clicked “Create database”: “We're sorry, your request to create DB instance myDB has failed. User: arn:aws:sts::224871219959:federated-user/charles is not authorized to perform: iam:PassRole on resource: arn:aws:iam::224871219959:role/rds-monitoring-role” A step needs to be added to change the radio button under “Publicly acessible” from “Yes” to “No”. Before changing that, I got the following error when I clicked “Create database”: “We're sorry, your request to create DB instance myDB has failed. Cannot create a publicly accessible DBInstance. The specified VPC does not support DNS resolution, DNS hostnames, or both. Update the VPC and then try again” Step 87: “Connect section” should read “Connectivity & security section”.
